HOW IT WORKS
Supply connected

USE & CARE
Installation
Choose a flat, accessible site with a solid foundation, clear of obstacles.
Build a concrete foundation to the hydrant's size and load requirements, setting anchor bolts during construction.
Place the hydrant on the foundation, align the bolt holes and tighten the nuts.
Connect the water supply pipeline to the bottom of the barrel with a leak-free joint.
Operation
Open: turn the operating nut counter-clockwise with a hydrant wrench, opening slowly; adjust the opening to the fire-fighting need.
Close: turn clockwise until the valve is fully closed.
Maintenance
Inspect at least monthly for cracks, rust and loose connections.
Lubricate the operating nut and valve stem regularly with grease.
