Tiller or Gear Control?

Choose Tiller Control (TFS) when the monitor will be operated by personnel standing directly at the unit — tiller handles allow rapid manual repositioning during active incidents. Choose Gear Control (WFS) for fixed installations where fine, repeatable directional adjustment is needed and the operator works at the monitor head.

Flow Rate and Reach Requirements

The TFS1 / WFS1 series covers 1200–2400 LPM with reach up to 65 m — suitable for most process area and warehouse applications. The TFS2 / WFS2 series scales to 4800 LPM and 85 m for large refinery units, tank farms, and terminal berths where greater separation distances or higher risk densities apply.

Water-Only or Water + Foam?

If the protected hazard includes flammable liquids (Class B fire risk), specify the SP or SQ foam monitor variants. These deliver both water and AFFF/FFFP foam from a single monitor and inlet connection, eliminating the need for a separate foam system. Water-only models (AZ-1, AF, SF series) are the choice for Class A fire risks and general industrial protection.
