    A Deluge Valve/ Wet Alarm Valve/ Dry Alarm Valve is a critical component of the deluge system used in fire protection services. During fire events, deluge valves are activated quickly and deliver a large volume of water over the protected area to extinguish the fire for protecting life and property. Because of this, deluge valves are known as the heart of a deluge system. They are activated by a detection system and operate as a system control valve. A deluge valve consists of an inlet, outlet, and a priming chamber.

Working Principle of Fire Alarm Valve

   The Deluge Valve adopts the principle of Diaphragm Non-Return. When the pipeline pressure at both side of the diaphragm is basically balanced, the diaphragm is in a closed state. When the water pressure from the water supply system is higher than the pipeline pressure of the pipe network spray system, the diaphragm can automatically open and just like the one-way check valve. It can form into a variety of deluge alarm and extinguishing system with other parts.
