DI Os&Y Grooved Gate Valve is a commonly used pipeline valve, it has the advantages of simple structure, good sealing, long service life, etc., so it is widely used in industry, construction, municipal and other fields.But Cast Iron Gate Valve cannot be applied outside the scope recommended by the manufacturer, and the following partial warnings are not for all, but will be helpful for some applications.
1, The DI Os&Y Grooved Gate Valve should not be installed on the pipeline whose working pressure is greater than the nominal pressure
2, The DI Os&Y Grooved Gate Valve should not be used on the contracted pipeline, unless there is a special recommendation or demonstration by the manufacturer.
3, The DI Os&Y Grooved Gate Valve should not be exposed to freezing temperatures.
4. In order to prevent operation damage, it is recommended that the operating torque of DN40~100 should not be greater than 270NMDN125-300 should not be greater than 400NmDN350~600 should not be greater than 500Nm.
5. When the local minimum temperature is lower than 4C, insulation protection should be done. When used as the end valve, companion pipe or jacket should be used for heating to prevent the pipe wall temperature from being lower than 0℃.
6. It is strictly prohibited to install and use on pipelines that withstand vibration or rapid changes in medium temperature
7. The pipe connected with the valve should have a solid fulcrum, and the two flanges connected should be concentric and parallel to avoid the connection stress damage to the valve product after the valve is installed.
8. No matter where it is used, the Cast Iron Gate Valve needs to be placed indoors. If it needs to be placed outdoors, the valve needs to be protected against wind and rain and sunshine. In colder climates, water should be prevented from freezing into the valve to prevent damage to the valve casting and damage to the elastic seat.
