The deluge valve is the ancillary facility of sprinkler system. It often cooperates with automatic fire alarm system to achieve remote control. Deluge valve allows water to flow into sprinkler unidirectionally and alarm at the same time.
The valve body is divided into three chambers: upper chamber, lower chamber and control chamber.
When a fire happens, fire alarm system probes it and starts solenoid valve to make pressurized water in control chamber flows out.
Thus pressure in control chamber drops, valve flap open and water flow to sprinkler system pipe and was transported to sprinklers.

when force on valve flap assembly applied by rocker is smaller than force applied by water supply. Besides, water motor alarm will start to alarm. Pressure switch motions and send electrical signals to control system.
