Storz couplings - also known as Storz fittings - are the symmetrical, quick-connect fire hose couplings that fire brigades and industrial safety teams across Europe rely on to connect and disconnect hoses in seconds, without tools and without regard to orientation. Built for the moment every second counts

When a hose has to go from coiled to charged in an emergency, there is no time to align threads or hunt for a wrench. The Storz coupling solves that problem by design: two identical, symmetrical half-couplings that lock together with a quarter turn, from any angle, by hand. This "genderless" connection is what makes Storz fittings the standard choice for firefighting, industrial water transfer, and mining and marine applications throughout Germany and much of the rest of Europe.
CA-FIRE produces its Storz coupling range entirely in-house, from raw billet to finished, pressure-tested fitting. Every size from the compact DN25 branch coupling up to the DN150 large-diameter suction coupling is available, manufactured in investment-cast stainless steel 316, forged brass, or cast-and-forged aluminium, and finished with NBR or FKM elastomer gaskets suited to the operating temperature range of your project.

Storz sizes are identified by letter code and by "Ka" - the outer lug-to-lug span across the coupling head. Matching Ka correctly is what guarantees a Storz coupling from CA-FIRE will interlock cleanly with hydrants, branches, and hose ends already in service in the field, regardless of manufacturer.
