A: Yes. The same body casting is available in single, dual (Siamese) and triple-inlet configurations. Single-inlet units suit smaller standpipe risers with lower flow demand, while dual and triple configurations are specified where NFPA 14 requires higher combined flow at the connection point.

A: Standard units ship with an internal spring-loaded clapper on each inlet, preventing water from discharging back out through an unused inlet while the other is under pressure. If your system design calls for an external check valve instead, we can supply the body without the internal clapper on request.

A: OStandard NST/NH configurations in stock finishes typically ship within 1–2 weeks. Custom thread standards, outlet sizes, or powder-coat colors add roughly 3–4 weeks for tooling and finishing. Minimum order quantity depends on the level of customization - small trial orders and sample units are available before committing to a full production run.

A: NFPA 25 recommends a visual inspection at least annually to confirm caps are chained and seated, threads are undamaged, the escutcheon plate is unobstructed, and the identification signage is legible.
