1. Customer Submits Certification Application
Submit in written form, providing product models, performance parameters, applicable sales contracts, etc.

2. FM Certification Agreement
FM Approvals assigns a project reviewer. The reviewer examines the materials, designates a project identification code, prepares a certification plan, and sends it to the customer.

3. Customer Authorization
The customer signs the agreement, authorizes the testing plan, and submits test samples, relevant documents, and an advance payment to the certification body.

4. FM Certification Review
Check product samples and drawings, and develop a testing plan schedule.

5. Testing Procedure
Test the product. If any problems are found, the customer will be informed. If necessary, the testing will be suspended until the problems are resolved.

6. Product Identification
After the sample passes the test, the customer submits the product identification.

7. Inspection of Manufacturer and Production Process
Inspect the manufacturer's quality control system, quality inspection procedures, and quality assurance manual, and agree on the scope of inspection for periodic reviews.

8. Project Reviewer Drafts Certification Report
Determine the key document catalog, and submit the attachment materials along with the final test report to FM Approvals.

9. Certification Report Approval Process
Verify the correctness, quality, and integrity of the report within FM Approvals. If there are no errors, print it officially.

10. Final Report
FM Approvals sends the final report to the customer. The product certification or commissioned testing becomes effective on the same day.

11. Certification Manual or Commissioned Inspection Certificate
Certified products or services will be included in the "Certification Manual".

12. Conduct Periodic Reviews
Conduct periodic reviews to ensure that the product quality remains at an acceptable level.
