The design principle of the fire commercial sprinkler system is to determine the number and type of spray head according to the area of the use place and the object that needs fire protection.

Number of spray heads

Generally, factory buildings and entertainment venues arrange a spray head every 10-20 square meters, while the warehouse is relatively dense, and arrange a spray head every 5-10 square meters.

About the choice of sprinkler type

Different spray heads can be selected according to different places:

1. Pendent sprinkler head is the most widely used sprinkler head, which is installed on the water supply branch pipe, and the shape of the sprinkling water is parabolic shape, and 80 to 100% of the total water is sprayed to the ground. 

2. The upright sprinkler head is suitable for installation in places where there are more moving objects and easy to impact, such as warehouses, and can also be concealed in the roof of the ceiling mezzanine in the room to protect the ceiling top boron with more flammable materials. 

3. Ordinary sprinkler head is suitable for restaurants, shops, warehouses, underground garages and other places. The ordinary sprinkler head can be installed directly, or it can be sagging on the spray pipe network, spraying 40%-60% of the total water down, and spraying the larger part to the ceiling.

4. The sidewall sprinkler head is suitable for places where the pipe distribution is difficult, and the sidewall sprinkler head is installed against the wall. It is mainly used for light danger parts of buildings such as offices, foyers, lounges, corridors and guest rooms.
