Working Principle

The concealed sprinkler operates using a sophisticated two-stage thermal activation process to ensure both aesthetic integration and functional reliability:

Concealment and Pre-Release: The sprinkler head is hidden above the finished ceiling and covered by a decorative cover plate attached by low-temperature solder.

Cover Plate Release: When a fire occurs, the heat causes the low-temperature solder on the cover plate to melt first. This allows the plate to detach and fall away, exposing the main sprinkler head and dropping it flush or near-flush with the ceiling.

Sprinkler Activation: Once the cover plate is removed, the heat-sensitive "German Kube" glass bulb within the sprinkler head is directly exposed to the rising hot air. When the temperature reaches the specific rating of the bulb, the liquid inside expands, shattering the glass bulb.

Water Discharge: The internal components are released, allowing pressurized water to flow out and distribute through the sprinkler's deflector, commencing the fire suppression.
