Before using a fire monitor on fire, a series of preparatory work needs to be carried out:
1. Accurately determine the size and location of the fire, and determine the number, position, and angle of fire monitors.
2. Check the integrity and flexibility of all components of the fire monitor.
3. Confirm whether the water source for the fire monitor is sufficient, and if necessary, notify relevant departments to pressurize or replenish.
Operating Steps
After the preparation work is completed, the fire monitor can be operated:
1. Open the water valve and lifting mechanism of the fire monitor.
2. Adjust the angle and direction of the gun to inject water into the fire source.
3. Observe the fire extinguishing effect and adjust the angle and direction of the cannon if necessary.
4. Control the size and range of water flow to ensure the effective extinguishing effect of the fire monitor.
