What are the parts of a fire sprinkler
At our professional fire equipment manufacturing factory, we know that fire sprinklers are an essential component of any fire safety system. But, what exactly makes up a fire sprinkler?
There are four main parts of a fire sprinkler: the frame, the heat sensitive element, the deflector, and the water supply system.
Firstly, the frame is the outer casing of the fire sprinkler and provides structural support for the other components. It also connects the sprinkler head to the water supply system.
The heat sensitive element is the part of the fire sprinkler that detects a rise in temperature and triggers the sprinkler to activate. Depending on the type of sprinkler, this element can be a glass bulb filled with a heat-sensitive liquid or a fusible element made of a metal alloy.
The deflector is the metal plate that sits below the heat-sensitive element and redirects the flow of water from the sprinkler. This ensures that the water is spread evenly across the area being protected.
Finally, the water supply system is the network of pipes and valves that carry water to the sprinkler heads. When the sprinkler is activated, the water supply is automatically turned on and water flows through the sprinkler head.
At our factory, we take great care to use high-quality materials and ensure that every component of our fire sprinklers is manufactured to the highest standards. We are proud to provide fire safety solutions that protect people and property around the world.
