For the diaphragm-type deluge valve, when its diaphragm is closed, the valve body splits into two parts: inlet and outlet. The inlet connects to the water supply system network, while the diaphragm cover and diaphragm, after sealing, form a pressure-controlled inner cavity. This pipeline links to the water supply pipe on the valve body's inlet side. When the pressure in the inner cavity is roughly balanced with that in the water supply pipe, the diaphragm stays sealed (namely, in a servo state). At this point, the water supply system is effectively separated from the system side. When the deluge valve is activated and pressure in the diaphragm control chamber falls, the diaphragm automatically opens to allow water supply.

Manual debugging
Before debugging the deluge valve group, first check if all components are fully assembled. Close all valves except parts 6, 7, and 15 → inject pressure water (no less than 0.14Mpa) on the water supply side, then slowly open the inlet signal butterfly valve 2 → pressurized water flows into the valve group, triggering the part 9 hydraulic alarm (briefly), part 8 pressure switch to output signals, and part 3 automatic drain valve to close.

When water is observed draining from the outlet of part 6 (which was opened earlier to expel cavity air), close part 6 promptly.

After a certain period (3s-100s), the diaphragm resets, the alarm bell stops, and the automatic drain valve opens to discharge residual water (opening part 12 can accelerate drainage).

Close part 15, open part 10, and debugging is complete. Once in servo state, parts 2, 7, and 10 remain fully open, with all other valves closed.
