The infrared detector built into the water cannons begins a 360° horizontal scan, and the ultraviolet detector assists in identifying the characteristics of the flames (to avoid misjudging lights and high-temperature equipment), and within 10 seconds, the location of the fire source is locked (for example, the middle layer of the 3rd shelf in the north area).

Precise aiming (function: electric pitch / rotation positioning)
After receiving the coordinates of the fire source, the water cannon is driven by the motor to rotate horizontally towards the fire source direction. The elevation angle is adjusted to 45° (calculated based on the height of the shelf), and the nozzle is aimed at the center of the fire source - at this point, the fire pump of the system will be activated simultaneously, and the pressure of the pipeline network will rise to 0.8-1.2 MPa (satisfying the requirements for long-distance spraying).

Jet fire suppression (function: large-flow column spray)
Once the pressure reaches the standard, the water cannons will automatically open the valves and spray columnar water at a high flow rate of 30-50 liters per second (the columnar water has strong impact force and can penetrate the gaps between shelves to directly target the fire source). This continuous spraying suppresses the fire. If the fire spreads to adjacent shelves, the surrounding water cannons will use the linkage system to successively scan, forming a "cross spraying" to cover the fire area and prevent the fire from breaking through the fire prevention zone.

Fire extinguishing conclusion and reset (function: fire source detection + automatic shutdown)
When the flames are extinguished, the detector fails to detect infrared/ultraviolet signals. The system delays for 30 seconds (to confirm no re-ignition) before closing the valve, stopping the water pump, and causing the water cannon to automatically rotate and pitch back to its initial standby position. At the same time, it sends a "fire extinguished" signal to the fire control room.
